Nannette Mariela is an illustrator and graphic designer based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Her work spans through a variety of artistic disciplines, with a focus on the basis of art, hand drawing, craft and material. Committed to creating thoughtful designs that reflect cultural influences and a deep reverence for nature. Whether working with pencil and paper or other mediums, her process emphasizes intentionality, attention to detail, and a strong sense of touch. Her background in painting and sculpture informs her distinctive approach, ensuring that each project is shaped by a unique cultural and artistic perspective.

With a bachelor’s degree from Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño in Old San Juan and a master’s degree earned in Italy, she brings a strong foundation in both traditional and digital design.
